Club News

Registration for fall and winter programs will be held at the Greenwood Community Centre on the following dates:

            Wednesday, August 19th - 6 to 8pm

            Thursday, August 20th    - 6 to 8pm

            Saturday, August 22nd    - 2 to 4pm

Skaters are also welcome to register by mail.

Forms for fall and winter sessions are now available. We have been required to change a couple of sessions from last season. Some times are earlier than we would like, but the schedule has been set by 14 Wing Greenwood to accommodate intersection hockey which has priority over Club bookings. Minor Hockey has also had to make changes.

Fall skating schedule is here. New this year, we will be offering a two-session CanSkate trial program in our Fall Session. The 2 30-minute sessions are mandatory for new skaters under age 5 and highly recommended for 5- and 6-year-olds. The cost of the 2-session program is $20.

Fall StarSkate (Figure Skating) and CanPowerSkate (for hockey and ringette players) sessions are tentatively set to start the week of September 6th, 2009. Winter programs including Skate Canada's flagship Learn-to-Skate program, CanSkate, is scheduled to start the week of October 18th, 2009. Look for information on our new Synchronized Skating Team, offered as a separate program this winter.

Registration will also be held at REXPO at Wing Welcome to be held at the 14 Wing Greenwood Fitness Centre in the gym:

            Saturday, September 19th - 9am to 1pm
